Quest NPC
Masterly Dwarf - Shinjuku Babel [X25:Y17]
Requirements
This quest has the following requirements:
- Minimum level of 20.
- Prior completion of Extract the Aluminum! quest.
- At least class 1 Weapon Knowledge.
- 10 Opals if completing the quest prior to completing Smith Crown and 10 Rubys if completing after Smith Crown.
Walkthrough
Talk with the Masterly Dwarf in Shinjuku Babel about compounding. Accept the quest to learn compounding and either bring him 10 Opals or 10 Rubys. After handing in the items you will be required to show him a Machete to finish the quest. You may show him a vendor purchased item, or a compounded item to satisfy the requirement.
Note: Machete Recipe A uses Bronze, Iron, Cedar and Whetstone.
Reward
- This quest unlocks the Swordsmith chain expertise.
- Class 1 Blades expertise
- Three Dwarf's Four-Leaf Clover
Note
- Make sure to have Blades expertise unlocked prior to turning in the stones.
- If you happen to have a Demon Friend Quest to compound a Machete, the Machete the dwarf asks you to build using his special clover at a 100% rate during this quest will count towards your Demon Friend Quest completion.
