This quest has the following requirements:

*At least class 1 [[Weapon Knowledge]].

* All of the materials for Machete can be collected from the white Plasma in [[Shibuya]] or purchased from other players.
Talk with the Masterly Dwarf in Shinjuku Babel about compounding. Accept the quest to learn compounding and either bring him 10 Opals or 10 Rubys.
* All the materials (bronze, iron ...) must be in the material tank so you can go further in the quest
After handing in the items you will be required to show him a [[Machete]] to finish the quest. You may show him a vendor purchased item, or a compounded item to satisfy the requirement.
* If you happen to have a Demon Friend Quest to compound a Machete and crafted during the quest, it will count toward the Demon Friend Quest completion. Use the Practice Four-Leaf Clover for 100% Success Rate.
Note: Machete Recipe A uses Bronze, Iron, Cedar and Whetstone.

Objectives

  1. Talk with Masterly Dwarf; "About Compounding".

  4. Report to Masterly Dwarf to receive 1 Class of Blades.
  5. Learn the skill "Blacksmith" and "Willow" from Swordsmith Chain Expertise.
  6. Collect 12 Bronze, 8 Iron, 8 Ceder, and 8 Whetstone.
  7. Compound a Machete.
  8. Report back to Masterly Dwarf.
