Story
Last time you assisted the Cathedral of Shadows investigate Suginami Tunnels. Since then, the Master has continued his study of the Plate. He has interesting test results concerning the elemental composition from the Plate.
You receive a man-made Plate created from the Master and agree to investigate further levels of this place. During your exploration, you find the same child Innocent from last time, Azura.
Objectives
- Talk with Snakeman.
- Talk with Master of the Cathderal of Shadows.
- Obtained 5x Ariadne's Thread (Sample).
- Acquire a Level 12 Demon and talk with Junkerman.
- Located in Suginami [X21:Y23].
- Obtained Old World Stone.
- Note: Using a Demon to excavate may not return if there Level is low.
- Note: If the demon fails to return, your Alignment will shift toward Chaos.
- Talk with Master of the Cathderal of Shadows with a Level 12 or higher Demon.
- Note: Using a Demon to be sacrificed will not return.
- Talk with Master of the Cathderal of Shadows (If your demon succeeded in returning, you must have it summoned).
- Obtained Suginami Tunnels Plate (Gray).
- At this time, check your item and equipment. Optional, you can bring along party members to help you fight.
- Clear Suginami Tunnels (Gray).
- Obtained Shining Blue Ore when you defeat Column Dweller Forneus and cleared the mini boss room.
- Obtained Cold Ore when you defeat Column Dweller Decarabia and cleared the mini boss room.
- Report to Snakeman.

Notes
- You can use your previous Erthys from your last quest to excavate and as a sacrifice for this Act. Clear 1-2 Suginami Tunnels Bronze or Silver to train your Erthys if needed.
- If you want to save time or want to use other Demons, you can contract with Cu Sith. Their level meets the condition already.
- Demon Level 05 = 20%
- Demon Level 13 = 70%
- Demon Level 15 = 100%
- During the Suginami Tunnels (Gray), you will find a NPC Jack Frost in the beginning of the run, if you show him either "Shining Blue Ore" or "Cold Ore", you will be able to teleport past the mini boss room. Players never done the act cannot perform this.
- Shining Blue Ore = Skip Column Dweller Forneus.
- Cold Ore = Skip Column Dweller Decarabia.
- If you show both Ores, you will receive Frost Pendant. You can either backtrack to the beginning or join a friend's Suginami Tunnels Gray.
- Defeat and clear the mini-boss room to obtain the Ores. You will still receive the item if an ally defeats them.
- Reminder, using a Demon for the excavation and sacrifice will not be returned.
- Excavation: Only if your demon has a low chance of returning back from the mine.
