Story

Another job is waiting from Snakeman, requested by Home III Management, about relief aids being sent from Shinjuku Babel to Home III. The guards couldn’t handle the situation alone and since each Home depends on those supplies, it is important they arrive safely. Along with the supplies, Innocents are also being sent. Innocents are androids built to be the labor force of Tokyo; they have limitless expression, have no feeling of pain, sadness, pleasure or joy.

After agreeing, you are dispatched to Home III Camp Ground. Reports state that strong demons were spotted on the transportation route. You took care of business and returned. The Guard mentioned the Shikigami was moving suspiciously as it was looking for something. Usually Shikigami are made of paper and can be brought to life using a technique called “Onmyodo”; might be a work of someone’s design.

You returned back to Home III and into the Home III Service Entrance, Innocent and supplies arrived. One of the Innocent deliveries was a child model. Do they even make child model? Suddenly, a big burst came from the door and several Shikigamis and a familiar demon appeared; Taraka. One of the Shikigami ran away as if it was a scout. One can’t help but recall the incident at Home II, was that Taraka the one that drove you to brink of death? You must overcome your past…

Walkthrough

  1. Talk with Snakeman.
  2. Perform a Dyad Fusion to create Erthys.
    1. Lost Hua Po + Kodama.
    2. Contract 1 of each Lost Hua Po and Kodama in Suginami.
    3. Optional: After creating Erthys, you can talk with Snakeman to learn the location of Home III Camp Ground.
  3. Talk with Guard in Home III Camp Ground.
    1. Located in Suginami [X18:Y17].
    2. You obtain 3x Incense of Experience (Small) (Sample).
  4. Defeat 1 Rowdy Avatar Cait Sith and 10 Cait Sith.
  5. Report back to the Guard.
    1. If you already reported back to the Guard and did not summon Erthys, summon Erthys and talk to the Guard again to receive your next task.
  6. Defeat 1 Imp of Chaos Shikigami and 10 Inugami.
  7. Report back to the Guard.
  8. Head back to Home III.
  9. Talk with Service Entrance Manager [X25:Y18] to enter Home III Service Entrance.
  10. Talk with Guard [X21:Y22] (Near the Terminal).
    1. You obtain Service Entrance Card A.
    2. At this time, check your items and equipment as you will fight a boss. Optional, you can bring along party members to help you fight.
  11. Use Service Entrance Card A on the Service Entrance Terminal.
  12. Defeat 1 Imp of Chaos Taraka and 8 Imp of Chaos Shikigamis.
  13. Report to Snakeman.

Notes

  • Imp of Chaos Shikigami are located around [X21:17] and are weak against Fire/Force-based attacks.
  • Inugami are located around [X20:Y18] and [X21:17] and are weak against Electric/Force-based attacks.
  • You do not have to train Destruction Magic to learn certain spells to finish this Act. You can easily obtain Agi Stone and Bufu Stone from Cait Sith, Jack Frost or Suginami's Curiosities (Home III Magic Shop).
    • Unless your character is a mage or needs Destruction Magic for your Expertise.
  • You must personally land the killing blow on a mob for it to count towards your quota. Just getting hits in will not count. Allies, however, can help you by lowering enemy HP or keeping you safe.
  • You do not need to keep Erthys summoned throughout the act. You just need him to trigger advancement in the task with the Guard NPC. However, it is recommended to fight along with Erthys since Inugami are weak against Electric-based attacks.
    • Make sure to keep an eye on Erthys MP pool. Give it Magic Stones should it run low.
  • If you keep your Wounded Cerberus in the Demon Depository or "End Contract", you will not be able to get Incense of Experience (Demons) (3x) (Sample) and Inexperienced Cerberus.
