Story

Yamamoto informs you that Setsu has another request for you, and this time you are to delve into the Shinjuku Docks. Setsu says that there is one area closed to the public that is used for DATA storage. An Innocent was sent down to the Docks to collect some DATA, but it never returned. You, alongside 3 other DBs, have been dispatched to investigate. Suddenly, Azura appears, saying that she's going with you to help the poor Innocent. Both Setsu and Yamamoto talk Azura down from coming along, but she begs you to take care of the missing Innocent for her. With that, Yamamoto hands you a key card to access the Dock Control Room, and you take the elevator down into Shinjuku Docks.

You head to the Dock Control Room, only to meet DB Mikanagi and Pazuzu idling in front of the door. He tells you the door has no power, and needs electricity from the Power Reactor southeast of that room to function. You enter the Reactor room only to meet up with DB Saito, who tells you the R07A Arcturus have started going haywire. Destroying them drops key cards, so she gives you one and sends you further in. You collect enough key cards to progress, and run into the Friendly DB, who informs you the Power Reactor's control panel is under a 5-stage lock that requires the correct combination of key cards to unlock. When you do unlock the control panel, power resumes flowing to the Dock Control Room.

Once you return and meet back up with DB Mikanagi, you both enter the room only to find the wreckage and bodies of multiple Guards and the missing Innocent. Apparently one of the rampaging Machines broke in and slaughtered everyone. Once you pick up the Vizionz, you return to the Central Control Room and deliver to Yamamoto the Vizionz, who hands it to Setsu for viewing. On this Vizionz is data about Kuzaka the Wise. Yamamoto informs you that Kuzaka the Wise was one of the Seven Philosophers, as well as the creator of all Innocents. Though they never met him, they both call him Father...

How to Initiate

Talk to Yamamoto the Steel-Willed after completing Act 11: Azura's Special Training. Your level must be Level 30 and above to start this Act.

Walkthrough

  1. Talk to Yamamato the Steel-Willed.
    1. You obtain DCR Key.
  2. Head to Shinjuku Dock.
  3. Find the control room at (x12,y25)
  4. Head to the reactor room at (x19,y30)
  5. Talk to DB Saito for the first card. It's color determines the pattern in which you have to use the cards later.
  6. Hunt R07A Arcturus until you have acquired the 4 other color cards.
  7. Head to the reactor controller at (x24,y36) and insert the cards in the correct order (Check the table below).
    • The Friendly Demon Buster is here to give you a pointer. He tells you black or red card comes after the yellow one.
    • The first card you get from Saito determines your pattern.
    • If you get the combinations wrong you will lose the cards you've put in.
  8. Head back to the control room.
  9. Talk to the Motionless Innocent and take the Vizionz of the Past.
  10. Report back to Yamamoto the Steel-Willed.

Note

  • Yamamoto will tell you that you are not ready yet and will not give you the act when your level is below 30.
  • Bring a full party or at least a friend. You might not be able to handle all the enemies alone at level 30 without the proper skills.
  • Use your equipment well because Arcturus can do multiple damage attacks at any distance when provoked. It will drain your HP pool quickly.
  • Write down the color of the card you are given by DB Saito, you will need it.
  • You need to talk to Saito before using any of your cards, else they will just be wasted since all of them will fail.
  • Prepare 6 free inventory slots for this Act. You need to collect 5 different cards while holding the DCR Key.
  • You can buy the cards in the bazaars.
  • Much of the unnecessary combat in this Act can be avoided by summoning and riding a demon mount.
http://img687.imageshack.us/img687/5871/lightbulb.png The droid's weakness is electric, so try and bring a demon with electric attacks. If you don't have an electric demon then at the very least your demon needs a range skill. The droid can almost keep you in continuous damage, and if you are melee this means you will never get close. Also, Poltergeist are invulnerable to the Arcturus' attack, so they make great tanks for this.
