Story

Snakeman, seeing your determination, decides to help you on your journey to becoming a Demon Buster. Demon Busters (DB) are "people that take a stand against demons," fight alongside them, and also have the ability to use the "Demon Summoning Program" installed onto the COMP on their arm. Snakeman is in charge of the Demon Busters in Home III and offers them work to help the people living in Home III. He tells you about a seriously-injured patient that needs a special remedy to recover, however one of the ingredients is the scale of a Pixie's wing. Recently flocks of Pixie and Leader Pixie were spotted in Suginami, just outside the Home III exit.

Once outside, you meet the Friendly DB and his Pixie, and he guides you on how to contract demons using Talk skills. You befriend a Leader Pixie and return to Snakeman, where you offer either a single scale or the whole wing of the Pixie to create the special remedy. He mentions the patient is a Cerberus that was rescued alongside you back in Home II. Snakeman describes both of you as having been covered in blood and in critical state, which you would rather not talk about. Changing the subject, Snakeman offers a new job about a new world appearing in the tunnels of Suginami...

How to Initiate

Talk to Snakeman after completing Act 0: The Sin of Weakness.

Walkthrough

1. Talk with Snakeman.
   1. Answering either reply will still continue with the act.
   2. You obtain 30 Ointments, 30 Chakra Gums, 300 Macca and 100 Magnetites.
   3. You'll be teleported to Suginami. (If not, manually move from Virtual Battle > Home III > Suginami. Check the map to locate the Border Zones.)
2. Talk with Friendly Demon Buster.
   1. How to Befriend a Demon.
3. Summon your Leader Pixie.
4. Talk with Friendly Demon Buster.
5. Talk with Snakeman.
   1. "Relinquish the Pixie Leader" (渡した場合の報酬)
      1. Minor Chaos Alignment shift.
      2. You obtain Obelisk Fragment.
   2. "Only hand over the scales" (渡さない場合の報酬)
      1. Minor Law Alignment shift.
      2. You obtain Obelisk Fragment.
6. Report to Snakeman.

Notes

• Whether you kept the Leader Pixie or not, you will still get Obelisk Fragment.
• After completion of this Act, you can obtain a Level 10 Brave Garm from Snakeman. Talk with Snakeman and choose "Talk about recent conditions". You also receive the valuable item Black Serpent Medal.
